The 38th Manila International Book Fair was held last September 13-17, 2017 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. It’s the biggest Book Fair in the Philippines!

Book worms from near and far braved the traffic and long lines to score bargains, meet authors and make headway on their Christmas shopping. The Claretian booth had its fair share of visitors. Bishops, priests, nuns, seminarians, teachers, catechists, librarians and colleagues enjoyed freebies and other promos at the Claretian booth. The Claretian authors willingly signed their books and had pictures taken with their followers.

It was quite fitting that as the Church celebrates the Year of the Parish, the Claretian booth won 2nd place in the Best in Booth Design Contest with its Cathedral / Church-inspired design.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the organizers, authors and guests for making this year’s MIBF experience truly a memorable one. A special thanks to our enthusiastic and devoted staff who passionately assisted the crowd, worked behind the scenes to ensure we had books to display at all times, and set-up the booth and made it elegant and beautiful.
