AMRSP. Association of Major Religious Superiors in the Philippines, formed in 1972 is the joint forum of the Association of Major Religious Superiors of Men (AMRSMP) and the Association of Major Religious Superiors of Women (AMRSWP) in the Philippines founded in 1955 and 1957 respectively. It is a forum to share common interests, an avenue for collaborations and a means to actively pursue the role of prophetic witness of being religious in the Philippine church and society. Justice and Peace was central to the inspiration of the AMRSP. Hence, the birth of Mission Partners, designed to respond, according to the Vision-Mission of AMRSP, to the emerging needs of the worker, peasants, urban poor, women, human rights victims, political detainees and the church people. The Mission Partners are: Rural Missionaries of the Philippines (RMP), Task Force Detainees of the Philippines (TFDP), Task Force Orientation of Church Personnel (TFOCP), Task Force on Urban Conscientization (TFUC), Urban Missionaries (UM), Justice and Peace and Integrity of Creation Commission (JPICC), Women and Gender Commission (WGC). The AMRSP has membership of 96 men congregations and 270 women congregations.
